A Foolproof Defense Against Speeding

Apparently, some teens in Maryland have discovered how to avoid speeding tickets. "Their method involves using glossy paper to duplicate the numberplates of one car and attaching the fake tags to a matching vehicle. Then they race past a speed camera to incriminate a teacher or fellow student."

So, next time you are hauled up in court on a speeding ticket, show this article (go down about halfway) to the judge. That should establish reasonable doubt about whether it was really you flying down that road at twice the speed limit, and you're bound to get off scot-free.

Or just make your own plates with somebody else's number and let THEM worry about it.
