A Fun Fact

The local newspaper earlier this week had a very cool picture of a tornado in rural New South Wales, near Canberra. It didn't hurt anybody or do any damage.

But what surprised me was that the article said that New South Wales gets about 100 tornadoes every year. Admittedly, it's a BIG state - 20% bigger in area than Texas. But I didn't think anywhere had that many tornadoes outside the United States.
